LAND OF OPPORTUNITY
Like our vines, our family roots in the Okanagan run deep. In 1958, Mehtab Gidda came to our “Land of Wonder” with a dream of farming and only $5 in his pocket. In 1978 we officially began growing our grapes. 3 generations, 60 years, and a lot of hard work later… we are proud of what happens when you pursue a dream.
Our name has been inspired by our land. Situated on the SE slope of Mt. Boucherie, a 60 million year old dormant volcano, Volcanic Hills Winery takes it’s name from the rich volcanic soils surrounding it. This is a land of opportunity, this is the terroir of the Okanagan.

My daughter's employer gave Olivia- aged 18 years - Balsamic Vinegar, as part of a Christmas basket, to their employees. Being thoughtful as she is, she brought us some. I started trying it on everything, it is so versatile and tastes amazing.
When I was ordering some 2018 Lava Red here I noticed the Olivia 18 here and so now I am on my second bottle. Try it, you won't be sorry.
