Wine Pairing

This glaze opens up some beautiful pairing opportunities, depending on what you’re in the mood for:

ScoriaFor those who prefer a fuller red, Scoria adds depth and richness and spice, pairing beautifully with the caramelized edges of the glaze.

Magma White – The perfect match. Its bright acidity cuts through the richness of the ham while complementing the sweetness of the glaze, keeping everything fresh and balanced.

Lava White – Off dry and Crisp, with tropical notes and minerality that lift the dish and cleanse the palate between bites.

Rosé – A natural spring pairing. Fresh berry notes mirror the glaze’s sweetness while still offering enough structure to stand up to the ham.

Gamay – Light, juicy, and full of red fruit. Its acidity balances the saltiness of the ham without overpowering the dish.

Simple, reliable, and always a crowd favourite. This is one of those recipes you’ll come back to long time and time again.
