This luscious wine boasts rich aromas of lemon meringue pie, dried pineapple, peach/orange marmalade and honey. The palate offers up luscious flavours of lemon curd, dried mangoes, baked apples, meringue, marmalade and honey on the long lingering finish.
Best served with your favourite fruit and vanilla based desserts like crème brulee, fruit flan, lemon meringue pie, pear galette, apple pies and streusels, or as an aperitif before dinner with paté, blue cheeses and sliced apples and pears. Serve at 6 - 8⁰ C and best consumed within 1-8 years of vintage. The wine develops nutty, honeyed and caramelized flavours as it ages.
