Production Notes
Made from 100% Estate grown fruit in West Kelowna, BC this Rosé is a blend of 88% Gamay Noir, 12% Pinot Noir from our Scharf and Elliot Rd Vineyards. Cold Soaked for 24hrs, the grapes were then pressed and co-fermented in 100% Stainless steel. The 2024 vintage in the Okanagan was significantly impacted by a severe cold snap in January, followed by a hot, dry summer. This combination drastically reduced yields, with some vineyards losing entire crops. However, the remaining grapes ripened quickly and evenly, producing smaller berries with exceptional concentration. While production volumes were much lower than usual, the resulting wines show remarkable depth, complexity, and purity of fruit.
