2024 Pinot Gris

Description:

Dry and fruit-forward, this medium-bodied Pinot Gris brims with nostalgic aromas and flavours reminiscent of a Dole fruit cocktail cup—think juicy pears, crushed pineapple, canned peaches. Ripe and expressive with a clean, mineral-driven finish.

Perfect Pairing:

A crowd-pleasing wine, that even Aunt Karen will appreciate.  Pairs well with fresh seafood, herbed seasoned chicken or pork, apricot stuffed pork tenderloin, garden salads with zesty citrus or peach dressing, Melon wrapped in Prosciutto, and soft ripe cheeses.

Production Notes

Vineyard Notes

The grapes used for making our 2024 Pinot Gris came from our Elliott Rd. vineyard in West Kelowna, BC. The 2024 vintage in the Okanagan was significantly impacted by a severe cold snap in January, followed by a hot, dry summer. This combination drastically reduced yields, with some vineyards losing entire crops. However, the remaining grapes ripened quickly and evenly, producing smaller berries with exceptional concentration. While production volumes were much lower than usual, the resulting wines show remarkable depth, complexity, and purity of fruit.
