Description:

On the nose and palate expect to find wafting aromas and flavours reminiscent of bumbleberry pie and frozen yogurt. Think strawberries, rhubarb, raspberries, cream and flaky pastry crust. Bright acidity makes this dry Rosé exceptionally food friendly.

The Story:

In 1978, Sarwan Gidda and family planted our first grapes in West Kelowna. Each wine in this single vineyard, cellar worthy line-up has been picked from the highest quality single block of fruit at each of our proprietors' homestead sites. The wines were then guided with care in the cellar by Winemaker Daniel Bontorin to showcase the unique terroir that they, like us, have been raised on.

Perfect Pairing:

Pairs well with birthdays, thanksgiving, Easter... Sunday dinner with your in-laws or reunions with old friends. Try it with a watermelon and feta salad, baked brie, grilled shrimp, blackened salmon, glazed ham or turkey burgers with guacamole.

Winemaker Notes

Hand harvested, crushed and destemmed. 30 hours skin contact before pressing. 20% barrel fermented in neutral French oak. Aged 4 - 5 months with weekly battonage.

I’m not too fond of the taste. I think perhaps more of an early to mid summer drink. Will definitely purchase again

A nice rose for a light meal or on the patio.

I enjoyed the rose and paired it with cheese. I have had rose that were more in line with my test but this would run a respectable second.
