On the palate this off dry wine is balanced with soft tannins and mouth-watering flavours of cherry, ripe plums, chocolate, vanilla and baking spices on the smooth finish. Best served just below room temperature.

Production Notes

Vineyard Notes

The grape varieties used in this semi-sweet red blend are: 58.9% Zweigelt, 14.3% Marechal Foch, 13% Merlot, 7% Riesling, and 6.9% Cabernet Franc. Each of these unique varieties was fermented separately and then barrel-aged for 12 months in a mix of neutral oak barrels. Zweigelt and Riesling Late Harvest was then added just prior to bottling for a touch of balanced sweetness.
