2024 Gewurztraminer

Description:

Dry and distinctive, this Gewürztraminer is bright and lively with juicy acidity and lifted aromas of peach, apple, apricot, lychee, and warm baking spices. On the palate, citrus, ripe peach, and crisp green apple take center stage, finishing with a delicate touch of nutmeg and ginger

Perfect Pairing:

Perfect for deep conversations over Thai takeout, this spicy and fruit-forward Gewürztraminer pairs just as well with date night as it does with a solo sushi feast. Classic pairings include ginger and garlic-forward Asian dishes, light curries, dim sum, fresh seafood, mango & ginger Stilton, and Vietnamese spring rolls. Also great for game night grazing or that Tuesday evening when you are feeling just fancy enough!

Additional Information:

Best served chilled to 8-10°C- with sophisticated company.

Production Notes

Vineyard Notes

This wine was crafted from our self-rooted Gewürztraminer vines, planted between 1980 and 2009 at our estate-owned Reece and Smith Creek Road vineyards in West Kelowna, BC. The 2024 vintage was marked by a severe January cold snap and a hot, dry summer, drastically reducing yields—some vineyards lost entire crops. The remaining grapes ripened quickly and evenly, producing smaller berries with exceptional concentration. Though volumes were low, the resulting wines offer remarkable depth, complexity, and purity of fruit.
