Description:

Elegant and vibrant, this dry wine exudes aromas and flavours of red cherries, raspberries, 70% dark chocolate, anise, potting medium and sweet baking spices. The juicy palate offers up fine tannins and a memorable finish.

The Story:

In 1978, Sarwan Gidda and family planted our first grapes in West Kelowna. Each wine in this single vineyard, cellar worthy line-up has been picked from the highest quality single block of fruit at each of our proprietors' homestead sites. The wines were then guided with care in the cellar by Winemaker Daniel Bontorin to showcase the unique terroir that they, like us, have been raised on.

Perfect Pairing:

Pairs well with family dinners. Try it with oyster or porcini mushroom gnocchi, roasted chicken with gravy, duck breast, or macaroni and cheese.

Production Notes

Winemaker Notes

100% Zweigelt, the fruit for this wine was hand harvested, crushed and destemmed. The warm 10-day stainless steel ferment was followed by full malolactic fermentation. 30% of the wine was then Aged in new French and American Oak barrels for 12 months.

We just got our wine delivery and OMG 😳 this wine is sooo delicious 😋 A beautiful nose, very jammy, the legs of this wine are perfect. Dry, and amazing with soft Brie! Highly recommend this!
