Vineyard Notes
100% of the grapes used for making the Zweigelt Icewine are self-rooted and came from vines planted in 1994, on-site at the winery. Following the strict BC VQA guidelines, Icewine must be produced from grapes naturally frozen on the vine, and pressed while the air temperature is -8 degrees Celsius or lower. We currently have a total of 80 acres of vineyards in West Kelowna, all within 10 kilometres of our winery, plus 5 acres onsite.
