Dry and fruit forward, this medium bodied wine exhibits beautiful aromas and flavours of poached pears, applesauce, crushed pineapple, canned peaches, white florals, nutmeg, and lemon meringue. This wine is ripe and elegant with a mineral driven finish.

Production Notes

Vineyard Notes

The grapes used for making our 2023 Pinot Gris came from our Estate on Boucherie and our Reece Rd. vineyards. The vines were self-rooted and planted from 1992 to 2010. A harsh cold front in December of 2022 caused significant vine damage resulting in a 40% production loss across many of our vineyards. The season of 2023 hosted above average temperatures throughout the summer that pushed harvest almost 1 month earlier than in 2022. The high heat contributed to the low yielding fruit with small clusters that showed exceptional ripeness quickly, producing wines with complexity, and depth.
