Vineyard Notes

100% of the grapes used for making this 2021 Riesling Icewine are self-rooted and came from the winery vineyard (clay and small gravel) which was planted in 2008. “Late harvest” is a term applied to wines made from grapes left on the vine longer than usual, and is usually an indication of a sweet dessert wine. Late harvest grapes are often more similar to raisins, having been naturally dehydrated while on the vine.
