Description:

In the glass, expect to find abundant aromas and flavours of cherry, strawberry, cranberry, sour plum, raspberry, bing cherry, anise and hints of soft cedar, nutmeg, caramel, rounded out with a crisp finish.

Perfect Pairing:

Ideal on days that end in Y… great on it’s own, and fabulous with a myriad of foods, this wine’s juicy nature works well with Turkey and sage stuffing with cranberry sauce, chilli, and bbq pulled pork.

Additional Information:

Try it slightly chilled! Serve at 14 - 16C

Production Notes

Vineyard Notes

The grapes used for making our Gamay Noir are self-rooted, and come from our vineyards in West Kelowna, which were originally planted in 1990 with additional plantings in 1992. The 2021 vintage was one of extreme weather conditions that resulted in record shattering temperatures.  This resulted in an early harvest, with low yields of ripe flavours from concentrated, small berries. It was aged for 5.5 months in a mixture of French and American oak.
