2022 Cabernet Sauvignon

Description:

Dark ruby red hues with aromas of blackberry, cedar and toast. Light - medium-bodied with blackberry, pepper and cassis flavours. Nicely balanced, forward tannins, lingering fruit during the moderate finish.

Perfect Pairing:

Aromas of ripe blackberry, green bell pepper, toasty oak, and vanilla rise from the glass, layered with hints of cedar plank and tobacco. On the palate, it offers a medium body with juicy blackberry, rich dark fruits, and cassis. Well-balanced with smooth, integrated tannins, the fruit carries through to a lingering, spice-kissed finish.

Serve at 16 - 18⁰ C and best consumed 2025 - 2032.

Vineyard Notes

The grapes for the Cabernet Sauvignon were grown in the mineral-rich soils of our partner vineyard in Osoyoos B.C. Barrel aged 13 months in 30% new French oak and grown during a well-balanced season.

Volcanic Hill's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon

2022 Cabernet Sauvignon by Volcanic Hills Estate Winery is smooth and full bodied, very pleasing to the palate! So good I sent two bottles home to Ontario.
They arrived a couple of days after my return from Kelowna and are waiting for me to invite friends ove to share this fabulous wine! Or maybe I won't!
