What benefits do Club Members receive?
- Priority access to new releases. Members receive their wines two weeks prior to the general release

How do I sign up for shipments?
Simple! Visit Volcanic Hills Estate Winery, choose a subscription or a gift, select your shipping zone and enter in your information. It’s that easy! Wine will show up at your home or office.
Which package did I sign up for?
No problem, simply sign in with your email address and password and click on ‘Account’. Under your Subscriptions it will show your membership type.
Do I need to sign up for a contract? Nope. There are no contracts to sign. The only fees you will encounter are the initial package fee (for either Red, White, or Mixed), and shipping charges.
What happens if I get a bad or off bottle?
Oh no! We’re sorry. Bad bottles are an unfortunate reality of wine world and they do occur. If you do get a bad or off bottle as part of your package, let us know and we will ensure that a credit is applied directly to your account.
Can I switch membership types?
With 20 days’ notice prior to shipping you can change your selection. Otherwise, your prior selection will be used. You are able to switch between membership types but note that availability is limited and the package contents may change to accommodate adjustments.
What wines will be in my shipment?
The wines are determined just prior to each mail out. Volcanic Hills Estate Winery wines are hand-crafted and of limited production. We carefully select the wines that we wish to share with our Club Members, promising only the best wines to be delivered with care.
Can I choose the wines for my shipment?
The wines are chosen by the winemaker and the owners prior to each shipment. You can also always add on any of your favourites by visiting our store to purchase more!
When will the next package be shipped?
You will be notified prior to each delivery by email. Wine club packages are sent in February, May, August, and November. Please get in touch with us, or visit your account to amend your address details if you will be out of town or have moved.
I will be away during my next shipment, what can I do?
If you will be away during the time of shipping, you can re-route your shipment to an address that will be able to receive it on your behalf or ask us to delay your shipment until you return. Simply log in to your account and edit shipping details for the current shipment. Volcanic Hills Estate Winery will not responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected or reshipped wines.
Can I change the address my wine is shipped to? If you have moved or would like to permanently change your shipping address you can do this by logging in to your account and editing shipping address.
Can the courier leave my wine on my porch?
No. At no time can your wine be left unattended. Packages must be signed by someone over the age of majority in your province.
When can I expect my wine?
Volcanic Hills Wine Club members can expect their packages will be delivered to you the 2nd to 3rd week of each month, as long as a purchase was made in the preceding month. So remember, if you’d like a package of wine, or want a gift to be delivered next month, be sure to sign up this month.
How does delivery work?
A huge part of the Volcanic Hills Estate Winery advantage is the delivery of wine to your home or office. When your package is shipped out, around mid-month, you will receive an email with the shipping date and details. If a FedEx tracking number has been assigned you will also receive a link to track the status of your shipment online. Once a package has shipped, it will usually reach its destination in under 3 business days. Someone over the age of 18, who is not inebriated, must sign for the delivery. FedEx cannot leave deliveries on a doorstep if no one is home. The delivery personnel will ID anyone who appears under the age of 25. It is the law. For this reason, we strongly suggest getting your package delivered to your office.
What happens if I miss the delivery?
The courier will make 2 attempts to deliver to your shipping address. If you miss both those deliveries, you must contact FedEx within a week to arrange for a third delivery attempt. Otherwise, FedEx will ship your package back to us and you will incur a $15 re-delivery charge.
Can I add more wine to my package?
Absolutely, anytime. Just log into your account and visit the store to see what is available.
What additional wines are available to me?
As a Wine Club member you have access to more wines than anyone else. Visit the Store to see what is currently available.
When will my credit card be charged?
If you have signed up for a recurring quarterly package your credit card will be charged at the time of checkout, then on a quarterly basis afterwards. If you signed up for a gift, your credit card will be billed once, in advance and never charged again.
I’m concerned about giving my credit card and personal information.
How do I cancel my membership?
Wine Club Members may cancel their membership any time after receiving the first shipment. Log in to your account and view it under Your Account/view and it will show in the right hand sidebar. If your cancellation notification is received after the wine club shipment has been sent out, your cancellation request will be applied to the following shipment.
Are there penalties or fees if I want to cancel?
No penalties, no fees, no hassles. We will of course be sad to see you go and might ask you why you are cancelling, but we want our members to leave the Volcanic Hills Estate Winery and look fondly back on the experience and many members take a break and then rejoin in the future!
