Light-medium red, the nose displays “old world charm” with cherry, strawberry, dark fruits, earth, barnyard, herbs, hints of spice and subtle floral notes of violets. The palate is dominated by red fruits, earthiness, toast, spice, tobacco and leather notes. Dusty tannins round out into a dry, finish of dark mocha and cherry.

- Recommended food pairings
- It’s the quintessential food wine. Try it with grilled salmon, bbq’d chicken and lasagna, or, slice into a good cut of plain roast beef. Also delicious with savoury foods like mushroom flavoured dishes, duck breast, braised lamb with roasted beets or goat cheeses.
