Pinot Gris 2014
- Pinot Gris
- Okanagan Valley, British Columbia
- Bottle size
- 750 mL
This dry, un-oaked Pinot Gris is pale straw in color with aromas of Anjou pear, apple skin, citrus and mineral with notes of floral and spice. The palate is very fresh, with a blend of pear, apple and rounding out with a lemon/mineral citrus finish. Pinot Gris is also known as Pinot Grigio (in Italy) - it’s the same grape, but the difference is the style of wine making. When called Pinot Gris, it may be oaked or un-oaked but when called Pinot Grigio it is usually un-oaked.
