Pinot Noir 2009
- Pinot Noir
- Okanagan Valley, British Columbia
- Bottle size
- 750 mL
Medium-light garnet color with cherry, caramel, spice & vanilla aromas and flavours. Our 100% estate grown Pinot Noir was aged for 8 months in a combination of French and American oak, resulting in a medium-light bodied elegant wine displaying well balanced acidity and finishing with soft and silky tannins. The most appealing quality of Pinot Noir may be its soft, velvety texture or the fact that it produces up to four times the amount of the anti-oxidant, resveratrol than other wines. It’s the perfect wine for the health conscious person. It is also known as the "heartbreak grape" because it's difficult to grow. A wine with attitude! Serve at 14 -16 ºC
- Recommended food pairings
- It’s the quintessential food wine. Try it with grilled salmon, bbq’d chicken and lasagna, or, slice into a good cut of plain roast beef. Also delicious with savoury foods like mushroom flavoured dishes, braised lamb with roasted beets or goat cheeses.
