Single Vineyard Gewürztraminer 2012
- Okanagan Valley, British Columbia
- Bottle size
- 750 mL
Pale lemon in colour with aromas of rose petal, honeydew melon, lychee, tropical fruit, apple and spice. It’s medium-bodied, with a palate displaying a mix of peach, mango, lychee, ripe pear and citrus peel. It’s also soft but very complex, with flavours of juicy lime to balance the slight sweetness and a finish that goes on forever! Serve at 9 - 12⁰ C and best consumed within 2-3 years of vintage.
- Recommended food pairings
- Because the wine is medium bodied and considered "spicy," it pairs well with other spicy foods. The wine’s sweetness coats the inside of your mouth helping to tame the spiciness of the food. It pairs well with exotic fruit and cheeses, bacon and pineapple pizza, quiche Lorraine, chicken, vegetable or lamb curries, baked ham, and Asian dishes.
