Pinot Gris 2012
- Pinot Gris
- Okanagan Valley, British Columbia
- Bottle size
- 750 mL
This un-oaked Pinot Gris is pale straw in color with aromas of lime, peach, Anjou pear, and some grassy notes. The palate is juicy with gooseberry, citrus and a steely, mineral finish with good length. Pinot Gris is also known as Pinot Grigio in Italy. It’s the same grape, but the difference is in the style of the wine made. When called Pinot Gris, it may be oaked or un-oaked but when called Pinot Grigio it is always un-oaked.
Serve at: 8 – 10⁰ C and best consumed with 2 – 3 years of vintage.
