A refreshing example of the Gamay grape.

Good Gamay is under appreciated. Those rogues in Burgundy ruthlessly promoted their Pinot Noir product. The single vineyard Gamays, such as Morgon are excellent but expensive here. Volcanic a hills offering represents splendid value. It is a little thinner that Blue Mountain’s version but is very good value.

My first GamayNoir

This is my first Gamay Noir. I’m really enjoying it; there is a strong but delicious black pepper taste to me, which is lovely. It’s has a very smooth finish.

Moderate tasty

A good wine for price. Moderately dry but, good. Would definitely repeat. My rating would be 3.7.
